Come together with Farmers Market of the Ozarks (FMO) to thank our military members for their patriotic service in support of our country this Saturday, May 19, to celebrate Armed Forces Day at the market.
“FMO will be flying red, white and blue in honor of our local Ozarks military and vendors will be offering specials and discounts to past and present military,” said FMO Market Manager Lane McConnell. “We are very pleased to have the American Legion and VFW in our community booths at market.”
Military members will view individual vendor’s specials and discounts and are encouraged to ask vendors about their military specials for the day. Visitors to market will have the opportunity to visit with our community booths and watch four cooking demonstrations that will begin at 9 a.m. and sample the locally made dishes.
Musical entertainment begins at 7:30 a.m. with the signing of the Star Spangled Banner, followed by Winder Lyons, Kevin Cott will perform at 9:00 a.m., a short break for the singing of the Star Spangled Banner at 10:00 a.m. and Bella Donna will close the day from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
